- About me:
- Hello my name is Marla Ellis, I am a stay at home wife and mom. I have been crafting most of my life, and with the encouragement from my family and friends, decided to turn my hobbies into a business.
I taught myself to crochet 13 years ago, after many years of watching both of my grandmothers, working on beautiful afghans, towel toppers, and doilies for their own homes. I wanted to learn to do this wonderful craft myself, so I bought a teach yourself to crochet kit, and sat down to learn this new skill, after many failed attempts at crocheting my first afghan, my grandma showed me how to crochet dish clothes and the rest as they say is history.
I also enjoy doing other crafts as well, like making greeting cards, paper quilling, decorative painting, just to name a few of my other hobbies.Come back often because you will never know what you will find at Marla's Handmade Gifts... http://www.marlae.webs.com
