Directing Traffic to your store.

Hey everyone. I was wondering if you guys would mind sharing how you direct traffic to your internet stores? I just started my site and started using Google Adwords. I can see this becoming an expensive prospect if sales aren't being generated by these visits. So what does everyone else do?

Hi Dave. There are traffic sites that are free - you will get a lot of traffic, but not necessarily a lot of business. It seems a lot of the people just surf for credits but don't really look. There are a few that do, however. A couple of these site are:

http://www.trafficericksons.net

These are free sites, but you can upgrade for a fee. Also, you surf to earn credits (some are given to you at sign up) and as you surf, you will most likely see more sites that have "surf for credits". I used these 2 the most with my candle biz and they did generate a lot of traffic and some customers and interested people in the business.

Good, solid relative keywords. I swear by them. Clean, validated pages are also important. And perhaps most important of all. Good, honest customer service. A satisfied customer is a returning customer - and one who will tell their friends.

I've run contests on my site too through my blog and that's really increased traffic. Submit your contest to sweeps sites and such. I've gotten sales from it.
